Students may sit for the following NHA certification exams with us (varies by program):
CBCS — Certified Billing & Coding Specialist
CCMA — Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
CMAA — Certified Medical Administrative Assistant
CEHRS — Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist
CPT — Certified Phlebotomy Technician

This program prepares students to perform routine EKG/ECG procedures. Coursework includes:
• Cardiac anatomy & physiology
• Electrode placement
• Recognizing arrhythmias
• Understanding normal vs. abnormal rhythms
• Patient safety and prep
Hands-on lab activities teach EKG machine operation and tracing interpretation. Students graduate ready to take the NHA EKG certification exam and work in hospitals, cardiology offices, emergency care settings, or diagnostic labs.

Description:
The CCMA program provides students with comprehensive training in clinical and administrative healthcare duties. Coursework covers medical terminology, patient care techniques, EKGs, phlebotomy fundamentals, vital signs, injections, front-office procedures, documentation, HIPAA compliance, and medical ethics.
Hands-on clinical labs allow students to practice skills such as:
• Vital signs and patient intake
• Administering injections (when applicable)
• Basic phlebotomy techniques
• EKG placement
• Charting and documentation
Students graduate fully prepared to sit for the NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam and enter the workforce in hospitals, clinics, urgent care settings, and specialty offices.

This 9-week phlebotomy program provides students with the skills necessary to collect blood specimens safely and professionally. Students learn:
• Venipuncture techniques
• Capillary punctures
• Specimen processing

Hands-on practice allows students to gain confidence and accuracy in blood collection.
